Associated Manufactures Agents/Professional Lighting Sales is a professional lighting and electrical manufacturers' representative. AMA/PLS encompasses Associated Manufacturers Agesnt New Orleans and Professional Lighting Sales in Baton Rouge. The Gulf Region territory includes all of Louisiana along with Southern Mississippi.

Associated Manufacturers Agents was initially started in the 1940's. It was the leader in lighting and electrical sales in Louisiana. Through the years each branch developed its market individually to the point that one large agency became a hindrance. In 1997, the individual branches separated. AMA split into AMA New Orleans and Professional Lighting Sales in Baton Rouge. Since that time, New Orleans, Baton Rouge and the Mississippi Coast have grown together to become one single market. Today it is necesary to approach the Gulf Region as one territory, hence the birth of AMA/PLS.
